芭蕾舞剧中的《人鬼情未了》，浪漫芭蕾的巅峰之作——《吉赛尔》（Giselle），只有很有实力的ballerina，才敢挑战这一角色。《天鹅湖》的 难处在于ballerina需要同时扮演黑白天鹅两个性格截然不同的角色（一个哀怨柔弱，一个热情妩媚）。在《吉赛尔》中，ballerina要扮演女主 角的三种状态：恋爱中的乡村少女清纯可爱的状态、得知男友已和他人订婚后的疯癫状态、死后的幽灵状态。浪漫主义芭蕾的两部代表作，一部正是《吉赛尔》，另 一部是《葛蓓莉娅》，刚好一部是悲剧，另一部是喜剧。
